Snowmobile Safety Training: 2026/2027 Season

Winter is coming, and the Lakeville Sno-Trackers are excited to help local youth learn how to snowmobile safely, confidently, and responsibly!

 

🎿 2026–2027 Minnesota Snowmobile Safety Training

If your child wants to legally ride a snowmobile in Minnesota, Minnesota DNR Snowmobile Safety Training is required.

 

This year, we’re offering a HYBRID course designed to make training easier for busy families!

 

👦👧 Who Can Participate?
Youth must be at least 11 years old by December 12, 2026.

 

💻 How the Hybrid Course Works

 

Step 1 — Complete the Online Course
Complete the Minnesota snowmobile safety course online at www.snowmobilecourse.com for $34.95.

 

Step 2 — Join Us December 12
Students attend an in-person classroom review and quiz, followed by a hands-on Behind the Skis driving session with certified instructors.

🌅 Morning: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

What Your Young Rider Will Get

✅ 2-hour classroom review and quiz

✅ Instruction from Minnesota DNR-certified instructors
✅ Support from experienced Lakeville Sno-Trackers club members
✅ Snowmobile Safety Certificate
